Hopeful

A complete stranger on the street.
He appeared to be a contented personality,
with the frankness of an ordinary Asian.
Greeted me with a minute glint of a hopeful smile.

Frankly speaking, I generally do not fancy street photography, and so was a bit reluctant to do it. Moreover it’s the
Middle East – not a favorable ground for Street Photography. However having tried it, felt like a strange experiment -
to find an ordinary subject – a common man, and make a portrait photo of him. It’s not an easy task. Certainly a bit
challenging.
