Isolated

By sunset the trees and the birds rested,
the waters were undisturbed and then
it was an environment of stillness…

While the restlessness of the day is over
and we too longed to take a break from hours of travel,
we got this time, isolated with this small slice
of abundant nature, and we settled there for the night.
